Connectivity Provider

RDSL connectivity guarantees top quality connection: the two-way band makes it possible to have the same data transmission speed both for downloading and uploading. The wide band guarantees high speed connections.

In isolated cases in which no RDSL coverage is possible, a satellite connection is offered. This guarantees connectivity regardless of the geographical location.

Thanks to the experience gained with photovoltaic sites, which are often in isolated places, Security Trust is recognized as a leading connectivity Provider all over Italy.

The types of connection depend on  the coverage and RSDL  is the mostly offered connection. Connections to the network take place by means of DSL radio bridges.

RDSL Backup

The backup  provided is a satellite connection managed by means of the FAILOVER function; if the main connection fails, the satellite connection, with a more limited performance,  guarantees the continuity of a top quality service.

When the main DSL connection is restored, a “switch” to the main link takes place locally in a fully transparent manner.

Depending on the traffic, the service will also be available for directing the SCADA traffic in order to monitor the production data of the photovoltaic system; practically a double service will be provided  with only one subscription and one connection.

Primary Connection - DSL RADIO

Through the relevant controls carried out with our providers  we have established that there is the  possibility of connection with the network by means of DSL radio bridges. Therefore we offer a connection by means of an R-DSL service via radio. RDSL means Radio Digital Subscriber Line. This service guarantees very high performance.

  • Wide band guarantee: the average connection speed is high also during peak hours

Secondary Connection – Satellite

The service is made possible by hardware components on the site. A fee for the use of the satellite band is charged.

The solution offered must guarantee the following:

  • High safety of the data and reliability of the network
  • Independence of the geographical location from the headquarters
  • Expansion flexibility
  • Homogeneity in terms of devices and management
  • Type of connection: always on (“always on”)
  • IP unicast protocol support
  • Quick installation
  • Optimization of the band resources within the shared satellite network to which the station is allocated.

Connettività 4G

The 4G connectivity service of Security Trust is dedicated to all Corporate customers and meets all possible requirements concerning data connectivity and safety.

The use of modern mobile technology makes it possible to use various technologies, including the 4G+ system: the connectivity offered is based on the fourth generation 4G mobile network performance. We have included new mobile technologies in our offer in order to increase speed, improve surfing and making it possible to  use of the new generation services from any site.

Advantages of the Dual Wan System

  • Continuity of service: the backup automatically activated after a FAILURE guarantees that the service is always available. More specifically, it guarantees the continuity of the service of all systems and avoids additional costs resulting from stakeout or connection failures.
  • Scalability: possibility to dynamically determining the band dimensions depending on the requirements of a specific site.
  • Speed when putting into service: the RDSL system makes it possible to put the system into service very quickly after installation. No delay resulting from the activation of SIN cards and/or contracts with domestic telephone operators exists, as it would happen with the UMTS/GPRS technology.
  • Dedicated band: each site shall have an independent Internet access. This makes the network stronger, reduces lag times when   relaunching WLANs and guarantees higher performance.
